I put up with you being this kid (second story) ALL YEAR LONG, but I still gave you another chance in my classroom EVERY SINGLE DAY. My assistant principal put you in the infamous Group of Six (last 2 paragraphs) and you worked so hard to improve that this last Wednesday we released you from the punishments. We’ve been through so much all year, and you made it worth it saying this (second quote). Clearly I care enormously about you… I’m sure you know it, but as proof you’re probably in my blog more times than any other student.
Then, after all that, you go and do something STUPID that gets you SUSPENDED for the REST OF THE YEAR. You lost the chance to make yourself, your mom, your imprisoned brother, me, or anyone else proud because YOU’RE FORBIDDEN AT YOUR OWN 8TH GRADE PROMOTION CEREMONY. I am never going to see you again and after all that work all year, I never got the chance to say goodbye and wish you luck. I hope you know this makes me cry. More importantly, I really hope this motivates you to be better rather than discouraging you so you do worse. It’s such a fine line with you. Please don’t mess it up.
